The Boeing Company in Huntington Beach and El Segundo, California, is seeking a Senior or Principal Electro- Optical Infrared Design, Assembly, Integration, and Test Engineer (Level 5 or 6) to lead a satellite development program.

Work includes leading a team within SMS and BTI Mission Systems, focusing on EO/IR sensors, driving technical excellence, overseeing design, integration, and test, interfacing with EO/IR suppliers, mentoring staff, and ensuring mission success on site with relocation

Qualificações

• BS in Engineering or related field; U.S. citizenship required.
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance; 14+ years experience total.
• 5+ years in design of mission systems or sensors.

Responsabilidades

• Drive technical excellence in optical sensor development.
• Lead design, assembly, integration, and test of EO/IR systems.
• Mentor Optical Sensor Engineers and Technicians.
• Interface with EO/IR suppliers and program leadership.
• Ensure mission success and timely issue resolution.
