Job summary

The Boeing Company in St. Louis, MO seeks a Lead Electro-Optical/Infrared Signature Analyst Engineer to lead EO/IR design, analysis, and integration for next-generation platforms. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance, manufacturability, and test readiness across the life cycle.

Required are extensive EO/IR experience and a strong background in electromagnetic theory, modeling, and lab testing to validate photometric performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or related field.
• 12+ years of EO/IR signature analyst engineering experience.
• 3+ years of EO/IR design experience using photometric or radiometric requirements.
• Master’s or PhD in applicable field (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform design, analysis, and integration activities for EO/IR design practices into advanced platforms.
• Assist in developing and documenting requirements for electromagnetic systems and components.
• Perform modeling and simulation of EO/IR performance for design optimization and validation.
• Generate design influence initiatives and direct design trade studies.
