Job summary
Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation seeks an Environmentalist Senior to oversee monitoring and sciences projects within the Environmental Trust Program. You will advise senior leadership on water quality, climate action, air quality, and watershed policy, coordinating with BIA and other agencies.
Requirements include advanced degrees in hydrology/environmental sciences, supervisory experience, and certifications such as CPESC/PH.
Qualifications
- Requires a degree in Hydrology/Environmental Science/Climate Science with 6+ years experience or advanced degree with supervisory experience.
- Desirable certifications: CPESC, PH, or Dam Safety Inspection.
- Requires FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700 within 6 months of hire.
- Knowledge of NEPA and cross-boundary water policy.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate monitoring and science projects in Environmental Trust Program.
- Advise Program Manager and Colville Business Council on water/climate/air policy.
- Manage budgets, grants, and service contracts for environmental projects.
- Serve as BIA Dam Safety Officer and coordinate with agencies.
