Job summary

Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation is seeking an Environmental Trust Program Manager to provide high-level direction over the Environmental Trust Program, shaping policy and enforcement across the Reservation.

You will serve as the principal technical and policy advisor to the Colville Business Council and partner agencies, with responsibility for air, water, soil, and water rights, including cross-border environmental issues.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in environmental science or related field is required.
• Four years of professional experience in environmental program management or regulatory enforcement are required.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and tribal environmental statutes and grant administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive direction for the Environmental Trust Program.
• Develop and implement environmental policy and regulatory enforcement across the Reservation.
• Serve as principal advisor to CBC, federal/state authorities, and international bodies.
• Represent tribal sovereign rights in environmental matters and manage multi-party negotiations.
