Westfield seeks an Environmental Underwriter to join our team in New York, NY, Berkeley Heights, NJ or Alpharetta, GA. You will manage an Environmental book, grow broker and client relationships, and drive profitability within a collaborative production underwriting group.

The role requires strong underwriting acumen, excellent communication, and willingness to travel for meetings and conferences. NYC candidates earn 90–115k, with on-site work at least four days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of environmental underwriting experience or related field.
• Strong underwriting acumen and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and manage multiple tasks with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow the Environmental book of business, focusing on CPPL and related lines.
• Assist in developing broker and client relationships and travel for meetings and events.
• Provide leadership for day-to-day underwriting activities within Environmental team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals and improve processes.
• Ensure adherence to environmental guidelines and product offerings.
• Interact with brokers, insureds, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders to drive cross-sell opportunities.
