RTX Environmental Test is seeking a Principal Environmental Test Technician for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will execute environmental tests, set up shock and vibration systems, and collaborate with IP teams to meet customer requirements while safeguarding sensitive materials and information.

The role requires a university degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, plus laboratory instrumentation and data acquisition expertise.

Qualificações

• Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 5 years experience in a product development lab with vibration shaker systems and instrumentation and data acquisition systems.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate mechanical shock and electrodynamic vibration test systems.
• Set up and operate climatic environmental chambers for temperature, altitude, humidity, and HALT testing.
• Set up and program control and data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
• Execute various vibration test methods (Mil-Std-810).
• Collect and verify thermal, vibration, and shock test data for accuracy.
• Safeguard classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation.
• Work in closed/proprietary/classified areas.
