Job summary

RTXEnvironmental Test is seeking a Senior Environmental Test Engineer in Tucson, AZ. You will lead vibration and structural tests, design test fixtures, and coordinate with an integrated product team to ensure test plans meet customer requirements.

The role requires a STEM degree and 5+ years in a product development lab with shaker systems and data acquisition; DoD clearance is preferred. On-site work in Tucson with a strong engineering culture and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with vibration shakers, instrumentation, and data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Consult and provide testing guidance to internal program customers and verify requirements.
• Write test plans and procedures; create schedules and budgets for testing.
• Oversee and conduct environmental testing to validate models and qualifications.
• Analyze test data real time and post-test to confirm requirements are met.
• Design, model, and analyze fixtures using CREO and ANSYS.
