Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an Environmental Test Technician III to support environmental qualification, acceptance testing, and development testing of satellites, solar arrays, and aerospace hardware. You will lead test activities, configure instrumentation, and mentor junior technicians, ensuring tests are executed safely and per aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in aerospace/environmental testing or related industrial fields.
• Experience with wiring, harnessing, and test instrumentation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental qualification and acceptance testing activities.
• Set up, configure, instrument, and operate environmental test systems.
• Maintain documentation: test procedures, calibration records, test reports.
• Mentor Environmental Test Technician I and II.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and safety procedures.
