Job summary

AST SpaceMobile in Midland, TX is seeking an Environmental Test Technician III to support environmental qualification, acceptance testing, and development testing of satellites and aerospace hardware. This senior role leads test execution and mentors junior technicians.

You will configure and operate test systems, collect data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards. Relocation to Midland is provided with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
Experience with environmental testing and aerospace manufacturing is highly desired.
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental qualification and acceptance testing activities for complex hardware.
Install, verify, troubleshoot, calibrate instrumentation and DAQs.
Configure and operate test systems including TVAC, vibration, acoustic, and thermal cycling.
Lead anomaly investigations and assist with root cause analysis.
