Qualifications

• 10+ years in environmental loss control, risk consulting, or EHS in insurance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and risk mitigation.
• Professional certifications preferred (CSP, CHMM, CIH, etc.).
• Willingness to travel regionally or nationally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental loss control surveys and site assessments for policyholders.
• Identify hazards, exposures, and regulatory issues such as waste disposal and air quality.
• Prepare detailed reports with loss mitigation and compliance guidance.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and engineering teams to inform risk selection.
• Provide technical guidance on environmental risk management to clients.
• Develop and deliver training materials on environmental risk topics.
• Keep current with changes in environmental regulations and industry standards.
• Support claims investigations and risk resolution strategies.
• Build relationships with clients as a trusted loss control resource.
