Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Sr. Project Manager - Team Leader with a focus on Environmental Remediation to oversee projects across TX, LA, OK, and AR. The role combines project delivery, people leadership, and business development to drive performance and client satisfaction.

Preferred location options include Austin, Dallas, or Houston. The position is hybrid and requires leadership of a ~50-person department, with responsibilities spanning governance, budgeting, and the adoption of digital tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Geology, Environmental Science Engineering, or related field with eight years of experience in project management and business development.
Background check required.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check.
U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required; sponsorship not available at this time.

Responsibilities

Drives program performance to meet client satisfaction and KPIs.
Develops solutions to client problems and participates in major reviews of dashboards/dive deep analyses.
Mentors and develops project managers and staff; coaches on KPIs and processes.
Grow profitable backlog and manage budgets for client programs; lead capture strategies.
Drive financial forecasting and cash flow improvements within the department; monitor working capital.
Ensure alignment with AECOM Project Delivery System (PDS) and Quality Management System (QMS).
