Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Area Manager and Senior Project Manager focused on Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation across TX, LA, OK, and AR. The role oversees a team, drives project delivery, and ensures client KPIs are met, with a preferred base in Austin, Dallas, or Houston, TX.

The candidate will lead program performance, contribute to business development, and manage major projects while applying Enterprise Capabilities and risk-aware governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Geology, Environmental Science Engineering, or related field and eight years of experience in PM and BD.
• Must pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Drives program performance to meet client satisfaction and KPIs.
• Oversees staff and succession planning for the department.
• Develops budgets for business development and portfolio management.
• Acts as escalation point for project issues and ensures compliance with PMDS and QMS.
