Jobtailor in Dublin, OH seeks an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead projects from scoping to completion. You will oversee Phase II ESAs, manage sampling programs, and prepare reports and regulatory approvals for diverse clients.

The role requires strong technical writing, client communication, and mentorship of junior staff, with opportunities to support business development and proposals in a dynamic environmental consulting team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of environmental consulting experience.
2+ years of project management experience.
Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, Ohio VAP, and BUSTR.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER preferred.
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including uneven terrain.
Ability to meet lifting/carrying requirements as needed.
Post-offer drug and background screening may be required.

Responsibilities

Manage environmental projects from scoping through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance.
Oversee and conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
Direct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and stormwater sampling.
Prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory approvals.
Serve as a key client contact and mentor junior staff.
Support business development and proposal efforts.
Provide regulatory-facing expertise and leadership informed by Ohio EPA supervisory experience.
Lead project work involving Ohio VAP, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and BUSTR frameworks.
Provide mentorship, staff supervision, and project/program oversight.
