Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced professional to lead environmental regulatory and permitting work in a coastal resilience context. You will identify regulatory requirements, coordinate with agencies, and review technical reports for complex projects.

The role emphasizes project management, client relations, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver permitting success across federal, state, and local levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in environmental science, law degree, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ work experience in the consulting field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Identifying project-specific environmental regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating with resource agency personnel.
• Writing and reviewing technical reports.
• Developing environmental permit applications (federal, state, and local).
• Presenting at public meetings.
• Facilitating successful environmental permitting of multiple and varied projects.
