Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Environmental to join our Parsippany, NJ team. You will lead environmental/engineering projects, supervise field investigations and laboratory analyses, and manage client relationships.

You will identify new opportunities, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, while upholding stringent quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Science is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with EPA, CERCLA, and RCRA regulations is essential.
• 10+ years’ practical experience in environmental investigations and remediation projects.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
• Strong client management and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex analyses for environmental projects and oversee field investigations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities; attend client meetings.
• Manage junior staff, coach teams, and participate in hiring.
• Oversee field activities and ensure accurate data collection and lab analyses.
• Prepare reports, proposals, change orders, and invoices within budgets.
