WSP USA is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental projects in the Texas/Louisiana energy corridor. You will direct siting, routing, permitting, and stakeholder engagement for transmission, generation, renewables, and pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience managing environmental projects in energy (transmission, generation, renewables, pipelines).
• Experience in siting and routing, permitting, impact assessments, and regulatory compliance in TX/LA/AR/OK/NM/MS.
• Experience preparing and managing Public Utility Commission filings and expert testimony.
• Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, schedules, and contractors across project lifecycles.
• Strong stakeholder engagement including public meetings and community outreach.
• Track record of successful proposal development, client growth, and team leadership.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across complex energy projects, ensuring on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery.
• Direct siting and routing for transmission, distribution, and generation facilities.
• Manage environmental permitting, applications, agency coordination, and stakeholder meetings.
• Partner with agencies; provide guidance on filing requirements; expert testimony a plus.
• Monitor policy trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the TX/Louisiana energy market.
• Serve as trusted advisor to clients, agencies, landowners, and internal partners.
• Lead proposal development, scope definition, budgets, schedules, and client growth.
• Champion innovation and best practices in project delivery.
