Job summary
WSP USA is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary energy projects in the Texas/Louisiana region. You will oversee siting, routing, permitting, and regulatory compliance across transmission, generation, renewables, and pipelines, working with planners, engineers, and environmental specialists.
Based in Texas with flexible options across Austin, Dallas, Houston, or Fort Worth, you will drive project delivery, client relationships, and stakeholder engagement,
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience managing environmental projects in the energy sector.
- Experience with siting, routing, permitting, and regulatory compliance in TX/LA.
- Experience with expert testimony and Public Utility Commission/PSC applications is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex energy projects on time and within budget.
- Siting and routing analyses for transmission, generation, and renewables.
- Manage environmental permitting, agency coordination, and public meetings.
- Develop proposals, scope definitions, budgets, and schedules with clients.
- Engage with stakeholders to support community relations and project approvals.
