Job summary

Dexian seeks an experienced Environmental Project Manager to oversee field remediation and civil construction, planning, coordinating, and executing projects on time and within budget. This in-person role is based at the Martinez, CA office when not on active job sites, with up to 50% travel to remote locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Proven leadership in bidding and executing environmental projects.
• Experience managing federal contracts (Army Corps of Engineers, DoD).
• Strong proposal, RFIs, and close-out documentation skills.
• Excellent collaboration with clients, regulatory agencies, field teams, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Project, and cost tracking.
• Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or 8-hour refresher.
• Willing to travel up to 50% to remote project locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental construction projects, including supervising technical and craft personnel.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Conduct cost estimating and review project plans and specifications to support proposals.
• Create and document technical approaches, work plans, and project completion reports.
• Forecast workload and project progress for existing contracts.
• Provide regular status updates to supervisors.
• Oversee project operations to ensure adherence to schedules, scope, and budget.
• Supervise, assign, direct, and evaluate staff; promote staff development.
• Prepare project budgets and negotiate contracts to optimize project delivery.
