Job summary

Simplex Hires LLC seeks a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead environmental remediation projects ranging from 1M to 40M. This is a 100% remote opportunity open to candidates anywhere in the United States, offering high-visibility work and long-term impact through engineering excellence.

Direct and manage all phases of large-scale remediation and landfill construction, coordinate a core team of engineers, supervisors, QA/QC, and safety professionals, and serve as the main liaison with clients

Qualifications

• Experience leading environmental remediation projects (Coal, Petrochemical, Refineries, Mining, etc).
• Construction company/general contractor background.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of landfill construction and environmental remediation.
• Expertise in budgeting, risk management, and multidisciplinary supervision.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all phases of a large-scale remediation and landfill construction project, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Oversee and coordinate a core team of engineers, supervisors, QA/QC, and health & safety professionals.
• Serve as the main interface for clients and key stakeholders, maintaining communication and building trust throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Manage project finances, reporting, and forecasting against established schedules and deliverables.
• Periodically visit the site for inspections and problem-solving; most work is office-based with minimal required travel.
• Drive innovation and excellence in remediation systems and construction management.
