Job summary

Exelon is seeking an Environmental Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of cost-effective compliance across our operations. You will oversee remediation, MGP projects and regulatory reporting, while shaping strategy and coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.

You will manage budgets and teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, reliability and performance goals align with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or Science or related field.
• 7-10 years of environmental program and project experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local regulatory issues.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with outside agencies.
• Proven leadership and change-management capabilities.
• Experience in budgeting and contract oversight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct complex environmental remediation programs and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Supervise and coach the Environmental Services team to achieve safety and performance goals.
• Manage department budget and development of annual O&M and capital plans.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and industry groups to influence policy and ensure compliance.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
