Exelon Corporation is seeking a seasoned leader to manage environmental program activities, budgeting, and regulatory compliance across company operations. You will guide remediation projects, coordinate with internal departments and external agencies, and shape strategic environmental initiatives to support safety, reliability and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or Science or related field.
• Graduate degree or graduate work in business or environmental science preferred.
• 7–10 years of environmental program and project experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local regulatory issues.
• Ability to work with outside agencies; negotiate effectively.
• Proven leadership: build consensus and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Develop & direct complex MGP/superfund remediation programs with budget, schedule and contractor management.
• Ensure performance of the Environmental Management System and regulatory compliance programs.
• Manage department budget, develop plans and drive process improvements and efficiency.
• Lead and develop the Compliance and MGP/Remediation team; appraise performance.
• Communicate openly with staff and clients; address grievances and feedback.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives for cost-effective compliance and safety.
