Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) seeks an Environmental Principal to lead complex environmental projects, mentor staff, and ensure quality and client satisfaction. The role emphasizes delegating tasks to senior staff while stepping in where needed.

You will review proposals, oversee budgets, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Strong leadership, client development, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Must have 12 years of related experience; 16+ years meets education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff and support development of the team.
• Attend project meetings and provide solutions to technical and administrative issues.
• Market services and maintain client database.
• Oversee project budgets, review change orders and invoices; assist with collections.
• Prepare and review environmental reports and proposals; ensure deliverables meet ECS QA/QC policies.
• Perform Principal oversight and review of projects; supervise staff and ensure proper staffing.
• Interact with Project Managers to ensure proper project setup and implementation procedures.
• Support and mentor staff; perform Principal policy reviews and client discussions.
