Job summary

Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead environmental projects from proposal through final invoicing. You will ensure tasks are completed, mentor junior staff, attend client meetings, manage budgets, and oversee change orders to deliver on time and within scope.

This role requires a strong client-facing presence, knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, and the ability to coordinate field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in environmental consulting.
• PE or PG license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental projects from proposal to final invoicing and ensure on-time delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and support development of the team.
• Attend project meetings and provide solutions to technical and administrative issues.
• Market services and maintain the client database.
• Manage project budgets, review change orders and assist with collection efforts.
• Oversee site activities, prepare reports, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Direct project setup, staffing decisions, and coordination with field staff.
