Job summary

Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee projects from proposal through final invoicing. The role serves as the main client contact and ensures successful project delivery with a focus on environmental insights and ECS core values.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a PE or PG license preferred. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, managing budgets, and coordinating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff and support overall development of the team.
• Attend project meetings and provide solutions to technical and administrative issues as necessary.
• Market our services and develop the client database.
• Strong ability to manage project budgets and prepare change orders; oversee budgets of others; review invoices and assist with collections.
• Scheduling, training and oversight of subordinate staff.
• Prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and ensure quality deliverables.
• Oversee multiple projects and ensure environmental compliance and client goals.
• Prepare and review environmental proposals and change orders.
