Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking an Environmental Senior Project Manager to lead complex environmental consulting projects from proposal through closeout. You will provide technical leadership, client management, and ensure safe, profitable delivery across multiple projects.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and coordinate staffing while maintaining strong client relationships and adherence to ECS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Environmental disciplines or related field.
• Must be able to obtain a local license via reciprocity within three months of hire.
• Extensive knowledge of environmental principles, regulations, and consulting practices.
• Extensive knowledge of permitting requirements and environmental investigation methodologies.
• Excellent project management and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors junior staff and supports professional development across the team
• Manages environmental consulting projects from proposal through project closeout
• Serves as the primary client contact for assigned projects
• Maintains and expands client relationships and business opportunities
• Manages project budgets, profitability, invoicing, and collections
• Reviews and approves project change orders and budgeting adjustments
• Oversees complex environmental investigations
• Leads client meetings and communicates project milestones and significant findings
• Develops site work plans and investigation strategies
