Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants seeks an Environmental Practice Team Lead to manage and grow our Northwest operation from the Anchorage, AK office. The role emphasizes client development, contaminant site investigations, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities to mentor staff and lead cross-disciplinary teams.

You will oversee project budgets, schedule, safety, and quality while expanding Geosyntec's environmental practice with industrial, institutional, and governmental clients in

Qualifications

• 15 years of direct environmental consulting experience or equivalent.
• 8+ years of Alaska consulting experience (preferred).
• Demonstrated track record in client management and business development.
• Excellent technical leadership of multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment with multiple projects and travel.
• Solid understanding of USEPA regulations and Alaska DEC regulations (preferred).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across data scientists, geologists, engineers and risk assessors.
• Build a portfolio of clients by securing repeat business and winning new clients.
• Foster trust-based relationships with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders.
• Mentor early career staff and supervise senior personnel to achieve business goals.
• Oversee Alaska team performance, budget, schedule, safety, and quality.
