Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants seeks a Principal, Information Management to lead the Northwest Data and Mapping practice from Anchorage, AK, with hybrid options. You will mentor staff and grow external client work while coordinating with IMAG teams across the firm.

The role demands GIS leadership, program management, and proven business development experience in a multi-disciplinary setting. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, geospatial science, environmental science, or a related field (required).
• GIS Professional (GISP) certification (preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in consulting, or 15+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data and Mapping group's growth and integration with IMAG teams company-wide.
• Guide staffing decisions based on capabilities, project history, and market needs.
• Manage client projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget while pursuing new opportunities.
• Lead or contribute to proposals, SOQs, and marketing materials with marketing support.
• Develop client relationships and cross-practice collaboration to drive external business.
