Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants seeks an Environmental Practice Team Lead for our Anchorage, Alaska office. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers, drive client development, and oversee contaminant investigations, risk assessments, and environmental compliance projects.

The role requires at least 15 years in environmental consulting (Alaska experience favored), strong leadership, business development, and a proven track record delivering projects with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, earth science (geology/hydrology), environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or related field is required.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Professional registration (P.E./P.G.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams locally and across the firm (data scientists, geologists, engineers, chemists, risk assessors, modelers).
• Build a client portfolio by expanding existing relationships and winning new business.
• Foster trust-based relationships with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders.
