Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Environmental Planning Project Manager to lead environmental planning, permitting, siting, and project delivery across the Gulf Coast and Texas. You will work with biologists, engineers, archaeologists, planners, and technical specialists to produce compliant, high‑quality environmental solutions.

The role focuses on client development and senior‑level project oversight, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring on‑time, on‑budget performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, urban planning, engineering, or similar.
• 10+ years of experience managing environmental planning, permitting, siting, and energy projects in Texas and the Gulf Region.
• Extensive experience with NEPA, CWA, ESA, and CCN filings for PUCT.
• Experience with energy infrastructure, data centers, and CCUS projects.
• Strong technical writing, strategic problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental planning, permitting, siting, and project management efforts across Texas, the Gulf Coast, and surrounding regions.
• Drive client development, manage client relationships, and oversee project delivery.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality environmental projects and innovative solutions.
• Provide QA/QC for client deliverables and regulatory filings to ensure compliance.
