Job summary

Trinity Consultants in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Planner to manage CEQA and NEPA environmental review and planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring regulatory compliance, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

You will lead project teams, mentor staff, develop new business, and act as the primary client and agency liaison, presenting findings at public meetings and coordinating with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, or related field; 4+ years of related experience; experience managing EIRs and CEQA/NEPA projects.
• Strong writing and communication skills; ability to prepare reports and present at meetings.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy for planning documents and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and completion of environmental review projects to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress against metrics.
• Manage client relations and serve as primary point of contact for clients and agencies.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to project teams and mentor staff.
