Job summary

Trinity Consultants in Oakland, CA seeks a Senior Planner to manage complex CEQA/NEPA environmental review and planning projects from inception to completion, coordinating teams, clients, and regulators to ensure on‑time, compliant deliverables.

You will mentor staff, develop business opportunities, prepare scopes and budgets, and oversee CEQA/NEPA documents while staying current with regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, or related field; at least four years related experience.
• Experience managing EIRs; strong knowledge of CEQA Guidelines.
• Excellent writing and communication skills; computer literacy including basic programming and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of environmental review and planning projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Develop scopes of work, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress against metrics.
• Mentor project staff and develop team capabilities; provide career development guidance.
• Facilitate public review processes; present at public meetings and respond to questions.
