Job summary

Trinity Consultants in Sacramento seeks a Senior Planner to manage complex environmental review and planning projects under CEQA and NEPA, from inception to completion, supervising teams, interfacing with clients and agencies, and ensuring schedules and budgets are met.

You will mentor staff, contribute to business development, and ensure technical accuracy across CEQA/NEPA documents, with a focus on delivering high-quality products and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, or related field.
• At least four years of related experience.
• Experience managing EIRs and CEQA/NEPA guidelines.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and completion of environmental review projects.
• Develop scopes, schedules and budgets; monitor progress.
• Manage client relations and interface with agencies.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and regulators.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to project teams.
• Mentor staff and support career development.
• Oversee CEQA/NEPA documents and regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate public meetings and respond to questions.
