The role combines senior technical leadership with project management, mentoring staff, managing client relationships, and delivering complex environmental compliance work for major public and private clients.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in relevant environmental field.
• 10+ years in environmental consulting and permitting.
• Experience leading permitting for transportation and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, local environmental regs.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies and leading permitting strategies.
• Proven project, budget, schedule, and multidisciplinary team management.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing technical staff.
• Experience interpreting permits, environmental requirements, and construction drawings.
• Strong client management, written communication, and leadership skills.
• Willingness for occasional field work and travel.

Aufgaben

• Lead environmental permitting and compliance for transportation, energy, and infrastructure projects in the NYC metro area.
• Develop permitting strategies and serve as senior technical advisor on compliance and agency negotiations.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies and support major clients.
• Oversee permit applications, environmental studies, reports, and compliance materials.
• Manage construction-phase environmental programs, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across projects to deliver outcomes.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and client expectations.
