WSP is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist / Environmental Scientist to join our Earth & Environment Team across the Northeast region, including New York City and other offices. The role involves field work, compliance program support, and ISO 14001 EMS activities to meet client objectives.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in a related field, 5+ years in environmental regulations and EMS, HAZWOPER readiness, and strong report writing and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• 5+ years of experience with ISO 14001 EMS guidance.
• Must pass HAZWOPER physical and wear respirator.

Responsabilités

• Conduct field assignments including environmental compliance audits, Phase 1 ESAs, and inspections.
• Support environmental compliance programs for industrial clients including permits, reports, and training.
• Develop ISO 14001 EMS program support and perform audits.
• Prepare technical reports and data presentations from audits and field investigations.
• Manage projects to meet client scopes, budgets, and deadlines.
• Assist in managing client relationships and maintain QA procedures.
