Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Complex Environmental Manager for our Las Vegas, Nevada complex. This role provides environmental leadership and strategic direction to facility leadership and teams, applying PBM and guiding principles to sustain performance improvement and environmental excellence.

The Complex Environmental Manager leads the site environmental team, ensures EMS conformance, and coordinates with regulators.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental field as listed.
Strong communication, analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with environmental compliance programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and strategic direction to achieve the environmental vision.
Lead and develop the site environmental team.
Ensure an EMS is in place aligned with GP expectations and standards.
Develop and maintain an evergreen POV of environmental risks and plans.
Drive the site environmental program to be more effective, verifiable and efficient.
Oversee permits and programs (Air, Water, Waste, SPCC, EPCRA, Stormwater).
Represent the facility during agency inspections and with regulators.
Collaborate with management, external stakeholders, and legal resources to address issues.
