Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Senior Environmental or Geotechnical Engineer to expand an established engineering practice in Canada. You will mentor professionals, oversee complex projects from planning to implementation, and lead liner/containment design, permitting, and budgeting with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will collaborate with leadership, deliver high‑quality reports, and foster relationships with clients, regulators, and industry peers in a flexible, people‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in consulting engineering (geotechnical/environmental/civil).
• Current P.Eng. designation or equivalent in Canada.
• Strong design capability (conceptual and detailed).
• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design and project development.
• Proven ability to lead projects, budgets, and client relations.
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with VP of Engineering to expand and implement the practice development plan.
• Mentor and develop a team of engineering professionals.
• Manage relationships with clients, regulators, suppliers, and peers.
• Lead liner and containment system design and permitting projects.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, resources, and financial performance.
• Provide technical guidance on grading, site layout, and stormwater management.
• Contribute expertise in environmental, geotechnical, and civil engineering.
