Job summary
Geosyntec is seeking a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join and grow our geoenvironmental practice in Pennington NJ or Bloomfield NJ, with opportunities in Columbia MD, Washington DC, and Richmond VA. You will lead technical and business development efforts on landfills, remediation sites and related systems, delivering projects from planning through post‑closure evaluation.
You will mentor staff, engage with clients, prepare proposals, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams while traveling
Qualifications
- 8+ years (10+ preferred) in geoenvironmental engineering or related fields.
- Strong technical foundation in earthwork, seepage, slope stability, and design.
- Proven ability to lead business development and client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex solid waste and remediation projects for landfills and related systems.
- Provide strategic technical guidance and practical solutions to clients.
- Support practice growth through proposals, marketing, and client networking.
- Oversee projects from investigation through permitting, design, and operations support.
- Mentor staff and coordinate multidisciplinary teams; travel as needed.
