Terracon is seeking a mid-level environmental scientist to conduct Phase I/II ESAs, soil and groundwater sampling, and site investigations. The role involves interpreting data, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with project teams on permits and remediation strategies.

Responsibilities include supervising field staff, supporting proposals, and developing investigative programs. A Bachelor’s in Geology/Environmental Science and at least 3 years of related experience are required;

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and site characterization.
• Collect, evaluate, and interpret soil, groundwater, and other environmental data.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory correspondence.
• Collaborate with environmental staff on projects including monitoring and permitting.
• Supervise field staff during sampling, testing, and documentation activities.
• Assist with data collection and analysis from sampling efforts and reports.
• Develop investigative programs and select appropriate methods for site studies.
• May oversee lower-level scientists, engineers, and technicians.
