Job summary

Terracon is seeking a mid-level environmental scientist to conduct site investigations, assessments and surveys across air, water, soil and material matrices. You will identify risks and remedial strategies, prepare permit applications and regulatory correspondence, and design environmental protection plans for diverse projects.

Responsibilities include field testing, data collection, proposal development, and coordinating with senior staff and clients to deliver quality results in compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field with 5+ years of related experience, or 9+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Lead or assist with site testing and data collection.
• Prepare proposals and reports for clients and regulatory agencies.
• Evaluate lab and field data and summarize findings in written reports.
• Coordinate with team members and client communications.
