Job summary

GeoEngineers in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist to provide technical leadership on environmental and remediation projects. You will plan remedial construction oversight, manage data collection, and prepare reports and design submittals while mentoring junior staff.

You will collaborate with Principals/Associates to develop client relationships, pursue new opportunities, and contribute to proposals, work plans, and RI/FS documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/environmental engineering, geology, or environmental science. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of environmental consulting or related professional experience.
• Licensed engineer and/or Licensed Site Professional (LSP) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations, MCP, and how to apply them.
• Experience managing environmental field investigations and cleanup construction.
• Ability to lead proposals, work plans, and RI/FS reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships and support business development.
• Serve as technical leader for remediation projects across planning, permitting, investigation, design, and monitoring.
• Plan and manage field explorations and data collection (soil, groundwater, indoor air, vapor).
• Evaluate data, perform analyses, and develop remediation solutions using MCP.
• Prepare design documents, calculations, and permit applications.
• Oversee remedial construction and site restoration.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
