Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a staff-level Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join our team in the Greater Boston Area. You will coordinate field activities, support site investigations, and contribute to remediation projects for a diverse client base.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience, a relevant Bachelor's degree, strong technical writing and communication skills, and the ability to balance field work with office duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field from an accredited program.
• 2–5 years of professional experience with an environmental/engineering consulting firm.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current refresher.
• Certification as an Asbestos Inspector in MA or NE states preferred or ability to obtain.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ArcGIS Pro and AutoCAD are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field activities and subcontractors on environmental projects.
• Develop technical documents including work plans and remediation specifications.
• Contribute to project planning, execution, and data management.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to project staff and clients.
• Support site investigation, remediation system design, operation, and monitoring.
