Job summary

GHD's US East Environmental group seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead contamination assessment and remediation projects, offering technical guidance to clients and project teams. You will oversee investigations, design, and optimization of remedies for complex sites and work closely with regulators and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or closely related engineering discipline.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required, or able to obtain licensure within timeframe.
• 15+ years of environmental consulting experience with remedial investigation and design.
• Experience selecting remedies for contaminated soil and groundwater; multiple media.
• Strong project management and client communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary remedial investigation and remediation projects from concept to closure.
• Develop and review feasibility studies, remediation plans, design calculations, and reports.
• Evaluate remedial technologies for soil, groundwater, and other media.
• Provide engineering oversight during construction, startup, monitoring, and O&M.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with scientists, geologists, contractors, and specialists.
• Lead proposals, scopes, schedules, budgets, and client communications.
