HGL in Ballston Lake, NY is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer (Engineer IV) to provide remediation and environmental engineering services for federal and state clients. This in-office role requires regular attendance with potential for 1–2 work-from-home days weekly.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in environmental engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Direct experience with CERCLA/DoD/DOE/EPA/RCRA projects.
• Engineer-in-Training certification required before start date.
• OSHA HAZWOPER certification.

Aufgaben

• Supervise junior and mid-level staff.
• Develop and review engineering studies, plans, designs, and specifications.
• Interface with program/project managers, government customers, and RA Contractors.
• Develop technical skills for long-term growth and development.
• Manage characterization and remediation projects for Federal clients; oversee budgets, scope, and schedule.
• Direct, manage, and lead project teams to meet objectives.
• Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and team members.
• Prepare remediation deliverables and cost estimates.
• Develop design alternatives and support remediation activities.
• Utilize digital and AI tools to support documentation and workflow.
