Hydrogeologic, Inc (HGL) is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to support our Philadelphia, PA office in Conshohocken. You will lead environmental remediation projects for federal and state clients, overseeing study design, remedial actions, budgets, and client coordination.

You will mentor staff, manage multiple projects, and advance toward project management. Candidates should have 10+ years in environmental engineering, a relevant engineering degree, and strong writing and regulatory

Competenze

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in environmental engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field related to Environmental Studies.
• Direct experience with contaminated-site investigation, remedial design, and remedial-action oversight.
• Strong writing skills for technical reports and work plans.
• Experience coordinating field subcontractors on environmental projects.

Mansioni

• Developing and providing technical review of engineering studies, plans, designs, and specifications.
• Interfacing with program/project managers, senior staff, government customers, and RA Contractors.
• Developing technical skills for long-term growth and development.
• Managing characterization and remediation projects for federal clients, including budgets, scope, and schedules; transitioning to Project Manager.
• Mentoring junior and mid-level staff including engineers and scientists.
• Leading project teams to meet objectives and communicate with clients and regulators.
• Overseeing preparation of deliverables like work plans, RI/FS, SSHP/HASPs, and remedial design docs.
• Developing material to support environmental remediation activities, including soil excavation and in situ treatment.
• Preparing design calculations and cost estimates; supporting data analysis and site modeling.
• Using digital and AI tools to improve documentation and workflow.
