Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the environmental engineering field.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field related to Environmental Studies such as Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Direct experience with contaminated-site investigation, remedial design, and remedial-action oversight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review engineering studies, plans, designs, and specs for environmental investigation/remediation.
• Interfacing with program/project managers, government customers, and RA Contractors.
• Mentor junior/mid-level staff including engineers, geologists, scientists.
• Lead project teams to meet objectives with cost/schedule constraints.
• Oversee preparation of remedial work plans, RI/FS reports, and designs.
• Develop alternatives evaluation and design supporting remediation activities.
• Prepare design calculations, data analysis, and cost estimates.

10+ years experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering

CERCLA/DoD/DOE/EPA experience

Engineering writing skills

Project coordination

HAZWOPER certification

Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Ability to manage multiple projects

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering
