Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Technical Manager, Geologist for our Atlanta area offices to lead environmental site investigations and remediation planning. You will manage field studies, prepare technical reports, and interact with clients and regulators while guiding a project team within the Earth & Environment practice.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years’ environmental project experience, GA P.G. licensure (or eligible), and deep CERCLA/RCRA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
• GA P.G. licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
• 10+ years in environmental projects, including management and client contact.
• Strong knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA and related regulations.
• Experience with site investigations, remediation, and groundwater/sediment data.
• Experience with drilling methods and soil/groundwater sampling.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical reports describing field activities and data.
• Lead environmental site investigations and remediation planning.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and client communications.
• Coordinate data collection from soil, groundwater, and other matrices.
• Provide guidance and leadership to junior staff with QA/QC adherence.
• Prepare complex data visualizations and cross-sections for reports.
