Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer for a remote role. The position focuses on environmental permitting, feasibility analyses, and monitoring for renewable power projects across development, permitting, and construction phases.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in environmental engineering, a strong command of English, and experience coordinating external contractors and BD/engineering teams. Travel availability is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in environmental engineering.

Responsibilities

• Address environmental topics across development, permitting and construction to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and support environmental authorization documents and related permitting requirements.
• Manage external contractors and on-site environmental monitoring during permitting and construction.
• Lead environmental due diligences, feasibility studies and monitoring plans for renewable power plants.
