Job summary

P&C Recruiting and HR is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to join a Nevada gold mining operation. The role focuses on managing environmental compliance programs and assisting with state permits while aligning operations with regulatory requirements.

Under the Environmental Superintendent, you will coordinate staff, engage regulators, and help develop environmental documents, training site personnel, and overseeing budgets and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science or engineering.
• 5+ years in environmental programs, Nevada mining experience preferred.
• 5+ years in state or federal permitting projects.
• Preference for Water Pollution Control Permitting and Environmental Management Systems experience.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental compliance programs for a Nevada mining site.
• Prepare and submit permit applications to state and federal agencies.
• Coordinate environmental staff and contractors under management.
• Develop environmental documents and reports for permits.
• Ensure safety and adherence to company policies.
