S&ME is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will lead a diverse portfolio of projects, supervise and mentor engineers and geologists, and help expand environmental services across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years of environmental engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Excellent project management skills and team leadership.
• Excellent business and technical writing skills.
• Desire to contribute to business growth and mentor developing professionals.

Responsabilités

• Lead projects: manage all phases from scoping to client communication.
• Provide technical oversight on soil and groundwater remediation, vapor intrusion, and related investigations.
• Oversee field investigations and prepare design recommendations for complex site conditions.
• Mentor engineers, geologists, and staff to support growth and training.
• Drive business development by leveraging local market knowledge and client relationships.
