Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a senior environmental engineer to provide engineering and consulting services across environmental projects.

You will lead investigations, assessments, design, and reporting, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and developing risk-based remediation strategies. The role requires a Bachelor's in Environmental or Civil Engineering, 8–11 years' experience, and a Master's degree if possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8–11 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of project risk and protect the Company's interests.
• Monitor and promote quality standards on projects and proposals.
• Lead safety programs and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
• Supervise analysis and document recommendations in reports.
• Provide technical direction and training to junior staff.
• Support marketing and client qualification presentations.
• Serve as Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.
